Tammy joined DeKalb
MRI Imaging Institute in 1998. She was born
in Sycamore and has spent most of her life in
DeKalb County. She has three
daughters and several family members in the Sycamore
area. Tammy has worked
in Healthcare for over 10 years. |

Monica Hernandez - Medical Assistant |

Grew up in Sycamore, IL; has been married
for 20 years and currently raising three children in
DeKalb. Monica joined DeKalb Imaging Institute in November,
2005 as front office personnel. In 2006 she became
a Registered Medical Assistant and currently holds
the position of Medical Assistant/Tech Aid.
Monica is bilingual and performs a variety of jobs
ranging from assisting patients prior to their MRI's,
performing patient positioning and injections. Monica
also works with referring physicians offices to assist
patients who need additional assistance to obtain an
MRI. American Medical Technologist member since 2006. |

Cheryl D. Wisdom - Business
Manager |
Cheryl has extensive business experience
dating back to the time she owned her own personnel
business in Washington DC. A career change for her
spouse precipitated a move to Sycamore in the early
90's. Since that time Cheryl has been instrumental
in the growth and professionalism that is the hallmark
of DeKalb MRI.
In addition to being a member of the Kishwaukee
Sunrise Rotary, Cheryl participates in the life of
her church, Christ Methodist Church in Rockford,
Illinois where she lives. Cheryl is an outgoing person
who is always looking for ways to make the patients
at DeKalb MRI feel more at home. She enjoys the respect
of her staff and the confidence of the owner |
Karen Miller - Front Office
Manager |
Karen joined the staff of DeKalb
MRI Imaging Institute in October of 2002.
She has extensive experience in customer service, data
entry and reception.
Karen is an active member of the community and is generous
with her time and
talents. She now stays active with her husband, 2 children
and 2
grandchildren. |
Nancy Kingren - Front
Office/Transcription |
Nancy joined the staff of DeKalb
MRI Imaging Institute September of 2006.
She has 16 years of service for Hauser-Ross Eye Institute
as a medical
assistant and prior to that was a medical transcriptionist
for the DeKalb
Clinic. When you enter our facility you will see Nancy
scheduling MRI
appointments, doing medical transcription, or performing
other patient
centered functions. |
Kiersten Lovan- Front Office Assistants

Kiersten joined DeKalb MRI in March
2007. You will see Kiersten answering phone calls,
assisting patients, and processing insurance information.
She received her Medical Transcription Certificate
from Kishwaukee College in May 2006. A native of
Keokuk, IA, Kiersten moved to DeKalb to further her
education. Kiersten currently attends Northern Illinois
University, where she will graduate May 2009 with
her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. |
Krystal Hernandez - Front

Krystal joined DeKalb MRI Imaging
Institute in April 2006. Today she is a sophmore
student at Kishwaukee College and planning to transfer
to NIU and major in accounting. She is a member of
the international honor society Phi Theta Kappa and
made the Deans list in 2007. |
Susanne Dostert - Accounts
Receivable |
Raised in Chicago, Susanne has 23
years of medical billing experience. She moved to
Sycamore in 1997, and joined the team at DMRI.
She handles "accounts receivable" along
with many other day to day services for our patients.
Susanne majored in business at Kishwaukee College. |
Sandy Pearson -
Professional Services |
Sandy joined the staff of DeKalb
MRI Imaging Institute in 2005 and serves as
a liaison between DeKalb MRI , the professional and
patient communities.
She provides the professional community with information
on our newest
services and educational material. She continually
asks for suggestions on
how we can improve our services.
Sandy comes to DeKalb MRI Imaging Institute with
a financial and sales
background.
She currently is serving on the Kishwaukee Hospital
Auxiliary Board as the
Health Advocacy Chair. Sandy is a Registered Hospice
Volunteer and is
actively involved in the DeKalb, Sycamore and Genoa
Chambers. |
